I can’t believe we’re already in November – where has the year has gone?! I spent October trying new products, practicing self-care and keeping my beauty routine balanced with the change of season we’ve been having in New York. Thankfully, I was able to find a few beauty gems and am happy to share my new faves with you here!

1.) Origins Original Skin Matte Moisturizer with Willowherb

OK – this stuff is probly my number one favorite from October. I was in need of a new daytime moisturizer and this honestly answered all of my skincare prayers. I have been using this as both a primer and a moisturizer, and my skin has been in heaven. I have combination skin but tend to get more oily during the day and this worked wonders to control shine under my makeup and reduce the size of pores. The smell is also fantastic and for 2 products-in-1 the price ain’t half bad.

2.) Dior Diorshow Mascara

Ah, this mascara is an OG fave from my high school days. I had since faded it out but have recently come back to it, because I almost forgot how much I loove this stuff. This mascara is amazing because it doesn’t clump, has a huge fluffy brush that really boosts and lengthens lashes and is scented, which makes it feel luxurious (imo). The price is a bit steep for mascara but is a nice treat yoself item if you’re looking to upgrade your lash game.

3.) Diptyque Noisetier Candle

If you scroll through any beauty guru/influencer/’it’ girls instagram feed you will probly see a handful of Diptyque candles. TBH I never knew much about Diptyque until a few months ago, but had always been drawn to their sleek Parisian label. Thankfully I received a giftcard to Bloomingdales for my birthday, and while $100 can’t necessarily buy you a sweater it will certainly get you a $64 candle. (prices range by size) The price is for sure a lil hefty but dang do I love my Noisetier candle. It has spicy, woody and smoky notes that make it easily the best smelling candle I own, although lighting it has become a bit of a special occasion.

4.) Tata Harper Volumizing Lip & Cheek Tint in Very Charming

This lip & cheek tint has been my second makeup fave in October, its just so good! I was gifted this in Very Charming and have since made it a staple in my morning makeup look. I love how a little goes a long way and also how this shade makes your cheeks look perfectly flushed. Definitely a must have!

5.) Pearlessence Rosehip Oil

I first spoke about my love for Rosehip Oil here and have since become obsessed with applying it nightly and seeing my skin transformed by morning. As previously mentioned, I found my oil at Marshalls for $5.99 and it works wonders, but you can also snag some pricier bottles at places like Sephora, Amazon and even some Health Food Stores. It doesn’t matter so much where you get it, as long as you get it in your skincare routine asap.

6.) Dior Addict Lip Sugar Scrub

If you’ve been on the edge of your seat wondering how I spent the remaining $36 of my Bloomingdales giftcard, there you have it – Dior’s $33 Dior Addict Lip Sugar Scrub. I had been religiously using a lip scrub by Cocovit for a whole year before it ran out(!) and was needing to purchase a replacement when I came across this scrub stick by Dior. I’ve loved using this because its more of a silky, moisturizing sugar balm than anything else and comes conveniently in a stick instead of a pot. Using a lip scrub has gone from a before-bed thing to an all-day-errday type of thing, which is perfect as we roll into colder weather. No chapped lips here.

7.) Cocovit Coconut Oil

It’s been a hot sec but thankfully I’ve found my way back to Cocovit, after first mentioning it here. However, over the past month or so have swapped it in place of my nightly eye cream. This applies a bit greasy at first – it is coconut oil after all – but by morning is fully absorbed into the skin and has loads of beauty benefits. Personally, I use it for hydration / anti-aging / anti-oxidants and have noticed more of a difference using this vs some of my other expensive eye creams. Coconut Oil FTW.

If you’ve had a product/item you’ve been loving recently I’d love to hear about it in the comments below!

xx
