Let’s start with a little update on the New York fall weather scene – it’s predicted to be in the 80’s well into next week, soo its pretty much nonexistent. No worries though because once it does finally cool down I’ll have put together the perfect fall look that’s versatile, burgundy and incredibly easy to style.
First thing’s first, I’ve been obsessed with these jeans. They’re high waisted, destroyed and affordable. When I first got them they were a little long for me, so I cut the bottom and am much happier with the raw hem. If you’re looking for a sassy jean for fall you can find my pair here or similar ones here and here. I kept this look simple and chose to pair these jeans with a grey bodysuit. I love wearing bodysuits with jeans because they look sleek and you don’t have to worry about tucking them in. I’m wearing this one from American Apparel, but they have an entire section on their website dedicated to bodysuits so there’s definitely something for everyone! Another great option would be to add a basic tee or tank into the mix, since you can never go wrong with a good staple piece.
I’m sure you picked up on this by now, but for fall I’m loving red’s and burgundy’s <3 I feel like they’re so easy to incorporate into your wardrobe and are gorgeous for this time of year. I found this trench over the summer from American Apparel and sadly this specific coat is out of stock. However, I found one that’s nearly identical at H&M and can be found here. I bought these pumps from Old Navy and not only are they comfortable but they come in a few different colors. You can shop those shoes here or a few other burgundy styles here and here. The beauty of this outfit combo is that it can be dressed down or jazzed up with a statement necklace. The necklace I’m wearing is from BaubleBar and unfortunately out of stock – but – I found something similar here and here, and a very affordable option here. And, voila! Just like that you’re ready to mix and match for a day at the office or a night on the town.
xx
